Nyrah and Juan’s First Sight Photoshoot

The day kicked off at Pollok Country Park in Glasgow with a delightfully nervous Juan, who had just hopped off a flight from the Netherlands to tie the knot with the love of his life, Nyrah. As we waited for the bride-to-be, Juan filled me in on their big plans for Nyrah to move across the North Sea to join him—and his excitement to start their married life together was absolutely contagious.

When I got the signal that Nyrah had arrived, I strategically planted Juan at the end of a golden forest path, facing away so she could steal the show on her walk down with her cousin. The big reveal did not disappoint: the second Juan turned around to see Nyrah, the look of pure, unadulterated awe on his face was completely priceless.

Scotland actually got the memo on weather for once! We were blessed with crisp autumn light, low golden sun, and gorgeous fall foliage that perfectly framed the couple. With their actual wedding ceremony scheduled just a few hours later, we were on a bit of a race against the clock, but that high-energy countdown only made the shoot more electric.
